New Product Development Technologist

What I do:

I work closely with the technical sales team, working on development briefs from our customers, finding bespoke technical solutions to support their launch of new products or updating of existing ones. My experience of stabilisers & emulsifiers means we can create bespoke blends to solve the food development challenges our customers face when trying to launch new products, improve quality or reduce cost. In particularly I specialise in the development of solutions for bakery, ice cream and dairy manufacturers.

My expertise:

I’m a BSc Chemistry graduate and have been employed at Arthur Branwell & Co. LTD since 2022. To begin with, I worked as part of the quality control team to develop my understanding of hydrocolloids and their application in food and pharmaceutical manufacture. I’ve since moved to our NPD team, expanding my knowledge of how food additives & natural materials function in various food applications in the laboratory & at an industrial scale.
